Jackie is superb! A few years ago, we began looking for a new home, even though at that time we weren't quite sure what we were looking for. We had lived in our previous home for over 30 years. Within a short-period of time, Jackie helped us figure out exactly what we wanted. Given the paucity of inventory, it took some time but Jackie was very patient, suggesting we look at "appropriate" houses when they came on the market, but never pushing us to buy, and never wasting our time by showing us homes that would not serve our needs. Once we found the house we wanted, I thought Jackie's job was done. Could not have been more wrong about that! That's when her work really began, and that's when it became apparent how much she excelled at her job. There were a number of issues that needed to be worked out with the Seller, some quite complicated. And with each one, Jackie took on our concerns as her own, and could not have been a better advocate. She was direct, but always pleasant. Jackie Cunningham-Hill is superb. Superb! with an underline, bold, italic and exclamation point. She represented me in the sale of my 104 Moscia Lane house. She came in with one arm tied behind her back, due to two prior false starts with my previous agents. Jackie expertly navigated the sale of my home from day one, both handling me smoothly (and I know I can be challenging) and handling the entire process deftly. She helped me with getting the house ready for sale, with her access to excellent and reasonable contractors. She skillfully negotiated a sale that resulted me in getting $65,000 more than I previously would have gotten, and this was on top of the money I spent in getting the house ready for sale. She also managed to achieve this in a rather impressive short period of time. Our first meeting was May 8th, listed on May 17th, she got a first offer on May 27th, and then a second offer on June 6th. This second offer she negotiated higher and it closed on June 24th! Jackie supported my wife and I over approx. 3 months to meet THE house that would meet all of the requirements we set out. We were/are some pretty picly buyers and wanted it all: modern home in an old stone house, a pool, a renovated kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, hardwood floors, walls for our paintings and all of this in the right school district. Jackie patiently showed us over 50 homes, drove us around to get to know different neighborhoods better, helped with schools, etc. She also helped us negotiate an agreement on a home we relinquished after inspection, a back-up offer on a home already under contract which we never got, and then, finally, on the home we closed on. Someone less patient and less diligent than Jackie would have sent us packing by then, but Jackie remained as focused as ever on the end goal and provided superb service and attention to her clients. While I have lived and sold homes in Boston, New Jersey and PA, I have not dealt with a realtor who was more proficient and capable, and a pleasure to work with. Her beautiful British accent is an added bonus. Jackie sold my barn that I had inherited in Newtown Square, PA. In my youth, I had my horses there and rode at Radnor Hunt Club. My parents had bought a farm when I was ten; I had great affection for the barn built in the late 1880s. Many realtors told me it would be knocked down for the 1.3 acres it was on, as other new homes were built on the cul-de-sac street where it was situated. Jackie listed it as both a home and land. She had beautiful photographs taken of the interior of the barn and the lot and street. She was diligent in showing the property and keeping me informed. As the barn was in PA and I resided in Florida, her communication was important. Among those interested, she found a young couple, including an interior designer who envisioned salvaging the barn to make it into a home that would display the oak beams and historic elements of the barn.
